Order of the Kaharagian Eagle

Officially, the Royal Order of the Kaharagian Eagle, is the second most senior dynastic order of merit in the Principality of Kaharagia, junior only to the Order of Saint. It consists of four classes or grades.

First Class: 
Knight/Dame Grand Cross

Second Class: Knight/Dame Grand Commander

Third Class: Knight/Dame Commander

Fourth Class:
Knight/Dame

Leadership of the Order

His Royal Highness the Prince of Kaharagia serves as the Sovereign of the Royal Order of the Kaharagian Eagle. The office of Grand Master, traditionally occupied by a senior member of the Royal Family, has remained vacant since the resignation of Her Highness Princess Sheilla in 2019.

Royal Membership

In accordance with Article IV of Royal Decree No. 15/2020, which establishes the constitution of the Order, all Princes and Princesses born to the Sovereign are automatically invested, by right, as Knights or Dames Grand Cross upon birth.

Grades and Insignia

First Class – Knight or Dame Grand Cross
Recipients of the Order’s highest grade wear the badge suspended from a sash worn from the right shoulder to the left hip, with a breast star affixed to the left chest.

  • Men wear a sash measuring 100mm in width.
  • Women wear a sash measuring 90mm in width.

Second Class – Knight or Dame Commander
This grade is marked by a badge worn at the neck, along with a breast star on the left chest.

  • Women not in uniform may alternatively wear the badge on a bow at the upper chest.

Third Class – Commander
Insignia is worn in the same manner as the second class, but without the breast star.

Fourth Class – Member
The badge is worn from a ribbon positioned on the left breast, with no accompanying star.
