The Prince’s Medal for Merit is the highest medal of distinction awarded by the Sovereign of Kaharagia. It is conferred in recognition of exceptional service to the Principality and represents the pinnacle of civic and national honour.
Design and Symbolism
The obverse of the medal features a finely sculpted effigy of His Royal Highness Prince Maximilian, serving as the central motif. Encircling the portrait is an inscription of the Prince’s name and title, rendered in the traditional Káharaž language. This detail not only enhances the medal’s aesthetic dignity but also reflects its profound cultural and national resonance.
The reverse bears the Sovereign’s personal monogram, entwining the letters “M” and “P,” representing Maximilianus Princeps, the Latin form of “Prince Maximilian.” The monogram serves as both a symbol of authority and a personal mark of the Prince’s esteem.
