Royal Standard

The Royal Standard of Kaharagia is the personal flag of the Sovereign and the foremost symbol of royal presence. Bearing the arms of the Principality in banner form, it is flown only when the Sovereign is in residence or present at an official occasion. Members of the royal family may be granted the privilege of their own variations of the Royal Standard, each bearing their individual arms.

Saint Michael’s Cross

Second in precedence only to the Royal Standard, the Flag of Saint Michael’s Cross holds a place of high honour in the Principality of Kaharagia. Dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of the realm, it symbolises divine protection and national strength. This flag also serves as the War Standard of Kaharagia, flown in times of military ceremony or defence.

National Flag

The national, or civil, flag of Kaharagia draws its colours from the royal livery and the coat of arms of the Principality. Unlike the more elaborate Royal Standard, the national flag was adopted for its simplicity and ease of reproduction, allowing it to be widely flown by citizens and institutions alike.

State Flag

The state, or government, flag of Kaharagia is derived from the national flag, distinguished by the addition of the crowned shield from the coat of arms. Its purpose is to signify official authority, marking the presence of the government or its institutions. Unlike the civil flag, it is reserved for use by the organs of the Sovereign State.
