1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to all official websites, portals, and digital systems operated by the Principality of Kaharagia, including:
- www.kaharagia.org
- www.kaharagia.ch
- www.kaharezul.org
- All affiliated subdomains (e.g. https://gazette.kaharagia.____, https://archive.kaharagia.____, etc.)
The Principality is committed to protecting the privacy, rights, and data of all users. As a sovereign subject of international law, we uphold the highest standards of digital independence and privacy protection, including full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All national digital systems and services are administered by the Secretariat of State. The Secretary of State is responsible for the governance, security, and coordination of Kaharagia’s digital infrastructure in alignment with broader national policy.
2. Commitment to Digital Sovereignty
The Principality of Kaharagia recognises that data sovereignty is a core function of modern statehood. Accordingly:
- All public services are hosted within European data centres, primarily in Germany and Switzerland
- No personal data is routed through or stored on infrastructure owned by foreign surveillance regimes
- We reject all data access demands from third countries or supranational authorities that contradict the laws of the Principality
Transition Policy:
The Principality will complete its full independence from U.S.-based digital infrastructure by Quarter 1 of 2026.
All national digital operations will then rely exclusively on open-source, self-managed software hosted on European soil.
3. Location of Administrative Offices
The Principality of Kaharagia maintains offices and an administrative presence in the United States. However:
- All digital infrastructure and official data systems are hosted and operated exclusively in the European Union
- All data is governed solely by Kaharagian law and GDPR-compliant practices, regardless of physical operator location
Access to official systems is strictly limited to authorised personnel who:
- Are trained in ethical data handling, confidentiality, and security policy
- Operate under binding data protection agreements
- Are directly accountable to the Crown and State for any misuse
4. What We Collect
Personal Data (only when you submit it):
- Name, email address, IP address
- Information provided through official forms or inquiries
- Account details, if you register or log in
Non-Personal Data:
- Browser and device type
- Operating system and session metadata
- Referrer information
Cookies:
We use first-party cookies only, for technical purposes such as:
- Session management
- Comment form memory
- Display preferences
We do not use third-party behavioural trackers or analytics platforms.
5. Use of Information
Collected data is used solely for:
- Operating official websites and digital services
- Responding to formal petitions or citizen inquiries
- Securing national digital infrastructure
- Fulfilling legal and administrative duties under Kaharagian law
6. Sensitive Submissions
Any submission to official Kaharagian systems—including:
- Petitions for Nationality
- Royal Honours nominations or responses
- Legal declarations or official communications
…is securely stored in encrypted systems accessible only to authorised state officers. All such access is governed by confidentiality laws and accountability mechanisms.
7. Media and Comments
If you leave a comment:
- Your IP and browser user agent may be recorded to prevent abuse
- Email address hashes may be submitted to Gravatar for profile image display, if applicable
If uploading media, please remove EXIF location data, as it may be accessible to site visitors.
8. Embedded Content
Articles may include embedded tools or content (e.g. videos, academic archives). Such content behaves as though the visitor accessed the originating website directly.
Where possible, we prioritise European-hosted or self-hosted sources for embedding.
9. Data Retention and Jurisdiction
- Comments and user accounts: retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested
- Legal submissions: retained according to national archival and legal retention rules
- Hosting: all infrastructure resides in European jurisdictions, under exclusive Kaharagian legal authority
We never transfer personal data to entities or jurisdictions not bound by Kaharagian or compatible privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).

You may request the following at any time:
- Access to personal data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccuracies
- Erasure of your personal data (where legally permitted)
- Data portability
- Objection to processing under specific conditions
11. Legal Authority and Updates
This Privacy Policy is governed exclusively by the laws of the Principality of Kaharagia.
Disputes or complaints arising from this Policy fall solely under Kaharagian jurisdiction.
Operational authority over digital infrastructure and data policy rests with the Secretary of State, acting through the Secretariat of State in coordination with all branches of government.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
